VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL SUMMERY SUNDAY SCHOOL Summer Sunday School is just around the corner, June 2nd. Last year was such a success, we thought that we would ask for your help again this year. It is simple: (1) Sign your name next to a date on the sign-up sheet in the vestibule. (2) Choose a topic, and an activity and write it next to your name. This could be a story and a craft, singing, game, be creative! (3) Show up on that date in Sunday School chapel with material for about 15 children. If you have questions or need help with material phone Robin Skelding at 748 or Barb Hoffman at 859-8871. HABIT FOR HUMANITY WORK DAY Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people from all walks of life to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses so that there are decent and affordable homes in safe communities where families can live and grow. Join members of St. John's in building a home with the Enriquez family on N. Smith St. in West Carrollton on June 29th. All skill levels, men and women, 16 years-old and over are welcome. You can come out for the morning shift from 8:30am-noon, the afternoon from 12:30 pm-4 pm, or both. Please contact Brook Nauta at 513-217-0564 or brooknauta@gmail.com to sign up or for more information. It is a lot of fun! |
